Say what you think. Argue like you mean it. Respect the person.
1 · Attack arguments, never people.
Criticise ideas as hard as you like. Insults, slurs aimed at someone, mocking a person instead of their point — no.
2 · No topic is off-limits.
Politics, religion, sex, drugs, conspiracies, taboo questions — all fine to discuss. Graphic or NSFW material stays out unless a channel says otherwise.
3 · Disagreement isn't harassment — and harassment isn't disagreement.
Someone holding a view you dislike is not an attack on you. Following someone around, dogpiling, or flooding their DMs is.
4 · Good faith first.
Steelman before you rebut: show you understood the other side. Ask before you assume. Changing your mind is a win, not a loss.
5 · Arguments over volume.
Sources welcome. Caps lock, spam, copy-paste walls and "lol cope" are not arguments.
6 · Safety lines we don't cross.
No doxxing or sharing private info. No threats or calls for violence. Nothing sexual involving minors, ever. No illegal content. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply.
7 · No ads, raids or self-promo spam.
Sharing your own work is fine if it's relevant to the conversation. Ask a moderator before posting invites to other servers.
8 · Moderators moderate behaviour, not opinions.
Nobody gets warned, muted or banned for what they believe — only for how they act. If you think a mod got it wrong, say so calmly in DMs or in #suggestions.
How moderation works
Reminder → warning → timeout → ban. Serious cases (doxxing, threats, illegal content, raids) skip straight to a ban.
Language
English is the main language, so everyone can follow. Short quotes or jokes in other languages are fine.
By staying on the server you agree to these rules. They may evolve — changes are announced in #announcements.
